staggered membership?

I'm interested in a basic paid membership right now, to at least support the forum a little. I will be interested in upgrading to a full gold membership within a few months. I just happen to be really low on funds right now. Is it possible to upgrade and only pay the additional $15 to do this down the road? I understand that the membership would still terminate at the original date I registerd the basic one.

Sorry if this information is somewhere else. I wasn't able to find it.
 
Ok, so do you guys not know the answer to my questions? Or do you just not want to provide me with help? I fully intend to be a paying member, but I want to understand what kind of options and timeframe I have.
 
Have a little patience. Someone will get back to you. Not all mods are up at 12:16 in the AM. :rolleyes:

From what I've seen, this is a manual process so you actually have to ask Spark to upgrade your account, it's not available through the automated system.

Also notice that Gold costs $30 when processed manually, so there's a chance that your subscription upgrade will cost $20 instead of $15.
