Stained K390

I cut a few hundred boxes full of strapping tape with my Spyderco P4/K390. I usually clean the tape residue with Ballistol which also does ok keeping the blade from corrosion.

During "the crisis" I was stuck away from home almost a year and when I got back recently my P4 blade had spotted. I don't think it is to the point of pitting but there are brown spots and stains.

Is there an easy way to clean up the blade? Thank you.

A Sabitoru rust eraser is easy to get online. Just soak it for a minute and rub down the blade.

Thanks, I was thinking about Simichrome or Flitz. They ought to be available here online, I believe they're made in the next country over.

I got some Nevr-Dull while waiting for the Flitz to show up in the mailbox. It helped a lot but some spots are still showing up even though they're a lot lighter than before. Unfortunately the last few are mostly on the edge near the tip. It's gonna be a fine line between polishing these out and ending up in the emergency room
