Look for a larger jackknife. Something in the 4 to 4 &1/4 inch range. Around $100 dollars or less Stainless blades are a must; D2 counts as stainless in my book. The only thing I have seen is the Schatt and Morgan Heavy Duty Jack. Really nice knife but out of my price range at ~$130ish. What would you guys recommend?

Canal Street makes a swell center jack with clip and pen at around 4-1/8" closed. They generally run from $85 to around $100 with D2 blades.

A good suggestion! I stumbled into Knivesshipfree's video about why you should carry a knife while looking the Canal Street up.

Case 6211 1/2 - 4 1/2"

CSC Full Moon Trapper also fits your requirements. It's been made in D2 & 14-4, both excellent steels, much better than Case Tru-Sharp (420HC). CSC is also doing stainless bolsters and springs now.

S&M/Queen have quite a few Jacks that fit your requirements
Look at their File & Wire series

I actually won a heavy duty jack last night. Got a good deal on it too. Thanks for all the suggestions though. I enjoyed learning about CSC.
