Hi. So I'm totally digging on the L.T. Wright Camp Muk. I really like the looks, shape, size, grind; basically everything except the steel. Not dogging or saying there is anything wrong with A2 (or I've also seen it listed on some of the retail sites as being in O1); it's more just a matter of I don't fully trust myself with the more easily stained tool steels. I do have a couple of blades in 1095 that haven't really had any problems with; however I have, sad to admit, also accidentally let a a carbon blade get away from me and develop some rust from neglect. What I would really like is this blade in stainless. I'd would totally dig on this knife in something like S30V, S35VN, CPM-154 or maybe Elmax

So what I'm trying to figure out are my options. L.T. Wrights site says they are not currently accepting custom orders plus based on what he currently offers I don't know how much or if he works with stainless anyway (I think most all of his knives I've seen are O1, A2, and D2). Is there another maker/semi production who offers something similar to the Camp Muk but in a stainless variety? Are there any particular custom makers that do good work with stainless that I should be looking at or talking to? Any advice or options are appreciated. Thanks

Thanks. I took a look at his his subforum and liked what I saw. He did appear to have a couple of Muk style knives currently for sale. They weren't 100% what I'm looking for but definitely intrigued and considering the S90V one he has. It does also appear though that he currently isn't taking custom orders; at least according to his signature. Of course that seems totally understandable though since it looks like he just had another child and is also getting some stuff ready for Blade show.

Definitely interested in other options as well but I'm sure will also end up with something from Big Chris at some point down the road.
