I just read a post about a cricket, and there was a mention of the stainless version. I've been thinking about this, and so here it goes...

I'd have to say that Spyderco hit a home run with the stainless cricket! Its slick, solid, and for a tiny thing, almost "beefy". It IS a small piece, but fits my big hands well.

I have both a plain and spyderedge version. The plain is a great edc, and the spyderedge version is, well, gnarly!

The ONLY worry I have is that like all stainless pieces, it will start to show hair scratches.

Overall, I'd have to say Great Job!:)

The SS Cricket is one knife that is on my pocket every day. It has a few scratches on it's scales. No way I know of to protect it from those scratches. The knife clipped to my other pocket changes with my moods, but the SS Cricket is always there.
There is some sort of amazingly hard anodizing like what is on my Arc Light that might work though. I've had the little Arc for a couple of months and it hasn't scratched yet.

I just got one of these yesterday and i am VERY impressed with it. This little knife is very slick, very sharp and rock solid.

Now if they will just make a framlock Dragonfly I will be all set!

I picked one up a few weeks. I can't say enough nice things about it. My cricket has found a home in my EDC.

I got mine yesterday.

It's almost half as thin as my original aluminum Cricket.

But, both are great! It will be a tough choice each morning to decide which one to carry...

Did you order your Crickets in the Netherlands?

Nice catch Ted. I have one on my keychain and another I sent to Ron for MOP scales. Can't wait to see how it looks.
