Stainless D2 - need input

I have heard tell of a Stainless D2. It is my understanding that Bob Loveless "discovered" the material. It is called 440XH. Anybody know anything about it?

Sal, According to steel specification chart that I got from Joyce 440XH has the following composition:
Carbon 1.60
Chromium 16
Manganese 0.50
Molybdenum 0.80
Nickel 0.35
Silicon 0.40
Vanadium 0.45
I also think that Wayne Goddard might have some information about it, as I seem to remember him writing something about 440XH.
