So... I have decided that I am going to get a sebbie and might as well get the best. I love that raindrop damascus and I am also going to use the knife. So... how hard do they heat treat the damascus too? Also, does it take a screaming edge and keep it, unlike S30V which rapidly loses that screaming edge. My favortie stainless steel so far is CPM-154 and unfortunatley that is not an option with the sebenza, but I love that raindrop pattern and figured that it might hold a keener edge longer then the S-30V? Can anyone share their exepriences? Also, what are the metals in the stainless damascus, I have read different metals being used like ATS-34 and something like 304?
