These were commissioned by a forum member as a wedding gift for his friends. They are Ladder pattern stainless (AEB-L & 304) from Devin Thomas and Mammoth Tooth with G-10 liners.

Hey guys. I got to handle this set last Saturday. Wowza! What the pics don't tell you is how nice Darrin's tall grinds have become. Kitchen cutlery is a whole nutha animal and Devin's patterns are so uniform as to be unforgiving of sloppy geometry or F&F - especially the spine-down view that the user sees everyday. No slop here and that little part between the tips and handle butts is just beautifully finished on both. Obvious labor of love:thumbup:
These were not the only drool-worthy blades he had either.
Darrin, really enjoyed the visit with you and your dad. Still grinning over all that nonsense. Good to see you as always.

Thanks for the compliments guys. Andy, I always enjoy seeing you too. Dad enjoyed meeting you too. He'd love to come over and go to work with you one day but he thinks your employer wouldn't allow it. I think he'll be a regular at the H-I's from now on.

I was lucky enough to have found Darrin and had these commissioned for my best friend and his wife. Wow, they are truly beautiful and Darrin's attention to detail is impressive. I'm extremely picky and was hesitant to order from a maker who I've never seen before, but it was a great decision. He assisted with ordering the materials and getting them to me in an extremely reasonable time frame (about 2 weeks sooner than he quoted me!)
Darrin was a pleasure to work with and made a concerted effort to be sure I was happy every step of the way.
His pricing is also extremely reasonable, this set wasn't cheap but it was the materials (a rarity!) that drove the pricing up and not the labor.
I'm sure I'll be doing business with Darrin in the future. He gets a 10/10 for customer service and a 10/10 for execution. He's also a damn good guy.
Did I mention they are razor sharp!
