Stainless Damascus Suppliers...

Alright I am getting a little frustrated. Here's my situation:

I have been asked to make a ring for my cousin's future husband.

I want to purchase a sheet of Stainless Damascus and "washer" form it over a mandrel with a silver lining. (I am not sure if "washer form" is the correct term so feel free to correct me)

I am finding it difficult to find stainless Damascus. Here is what I've found:

--i feel rather limited in his selection of available patterns. I also feel that maybe I can find a lower price, or are his prices reasonable?

Chuck Bybee is the owner of alpha knife supply. His prices are always pretty reasonable to me. He offers only good materials and great service. Not sure where Tom Ferry's name fits in with that link.

Damasteel is all stainless. Their Austenetic Twist has essentially
no carbon as well as being stainless.

You might also contact Delbert Ealy. I know he's starting to make
stainless damascus (saw him work on a billet at Ashokan last
month) but don't know if he has any in time for your needs.

What sizes / patterns were you looking for? We often aren't competitive with US prices, but we sell Damasteel by the inch, which might be handy for the ring project. A 1" piece is no problem.

Getting hold of a round billet(round bar) would be great for rings.
