I was curious how one of my signature folder models made of static materials would look like .
Normally I don't work with that kind of materials because of the lack taking a patina and only can be colored in colors
I don't like...so I left it all white, cold and "natural"....
Blade is made from Schneider inox Damascus.Fritz Schneider was the first man on the planet who made stainless Damascus.
I bought that piece of steel from him 20 years ago at a knife show in Solingen Germany. It contains two Sandvik steels.
As I remember it was 12C27 and another with more carbon content, as I forgot as well as the number of layers.
I am not a fan of stainless steels for blades but this stuff is excellent in edge holding and quite tough enough.
Cheers
