Stainless EDC II

I haven't bought a Fiddleback in some time and have only been casually browsing FB Fridays. I've patiently waited to see if any CPM154 EDC or EDC II would come. I was told before the EDC II was revealed that more stainless was on the way. I live on the southern coast about 20 miles from the Gulf. Carbon steels do fine here but require more attention to prevent rust or pitting. Hell, there is enough salt in the air that stainless can be ruined if neglected all together.
So with that I was wondering how much demand is there for SS from Fiddleback fans? Is anyone interested in a run of SS EDC II's? Maybe it's a demand thing. I know for me the EDC/EDC II seems like it would be fitting for a hunting/skinning knife. I know it's not traditional, but the handle style combined with the belly in the compact blade would work well at working hide. I know I want to give it a go for sure.
I have a Bushfinger and love it for an all around knife. I tried a hiking buddy for a smaller carry/carving knife and it was nice, but not enough belly for my purposes.
Maybe with interest Andy will make a run of SS EDC's. Then all I have to do is survive the frantic shark frenzy! It has become like winning the lotto lately from what I have observed. I've seen like 10+ posts a minute! Great for business/bad for catching that one knife that comes along once every few months; if ever.
Please chime in with your possible interest. The more the merrier. At least more out there would increase all our chances.

I'd like to see a pic if you have one to post. The only two I can remember seeing off hand was a full grind bone micarta and a blue handle one. Not sure of the material on the blue one. Thanks.

I love the EDCII!

I'd for sure take one in 0.125" SS. Let's make it S35VN!

There was this one in SS too. Was first in the 1/31/14 batch, and then sold later at a vendor.

I have two EDC-IIs .. one in Stainless and one in Damascus.

Those are all real nice. I like the wood in the Damascus and the cornflower blue. Tapers tang would be icing on the cake. I love the feel of tapered tang handles. That jade has aged well; nice knife. The mosaic pin is always a nice touch.
A few more interests and maybe we can lure Andy or Ken to be persuaded bu the voice of the customer.

Word on the street is a SS Bushfinger will be available this Friday or next. No word on whether a EDC or EDC II will accompany it. So just in case any of you are looking for a SS BF, get your Fiddleback Friday frenzy fingers ready.

SO anyone else interested in a SS EDC or EDC II? If not, what model would you like to see in SS (CPM 154)?

I got word back today that Fiddleback is low on stainless. It will be a while before a SS EDC come around. Damn! Though I was close.

Living in PA, I can get along fairly well with 01 steel unless I am camping for days in the rain. However, I must say that I own some examples of Andy's CPM 154, and I like them very much. In fact I think that this steel is superior to his 01 in that I can sharpen it to a more acute angle, and the edge will hold up very well for me. Don't get me wrong about the 01, it is a good steel that I enjoy using. I know now how acutely I can sharpen and still have the edge not roll on me. My point is that I can take the CPM 154 a little further. I do not consider myself a steel snob, but I do like the CPM 154. Years ago I lived in FL, and I understand completely what you are getting at here. I too would vote to see more CPM 154, especially for all of you Gulf and Atlantic coast fans.

That is a real nice bush boot you have Baron. It's tapered to a whisper and I love the wood.

Bonafide: you could sell me one of your EDC's. I love blue and wood. Either would be fine- is one tapered?...j/k.

Kirkwood: I'm digging the mosaic pin in the jade. The patina actually makes that knife look better!
