Anyone have any stainless handled traditionals (especially lockbacks)? I was thinking there may have been a thread on this previously, but can't seem to find it...

id love one, even aluminum, or bronze. solid metal. been asking some custom makers about it. alas no joy

I would look into vintage knives. I picked this one up for around $20 and cleaned it up! The Carbon steel blades took a nice edge and it has aluminum handles. It is very solid:thumbup:
This one is 3 1/2" closed and is a Hammer Made knife.

Mercator Cat is in steel and brass. Case has one gentleman's knife in all stainless. DoukDouk has a steel handle, not sure if it's stainless. Al Mar Hawk comes in Stainless from Blade HQ.

Here's an older knife made in Seki City, Japan for Lakota. It's got brass liners. I carried it for many years. It's a nice little knife from the 1980's.

Not lockbacks, but I have a Victorinox pen knife, my grandma's old camping knife of unknown origin and a small Giesen & Forsthoff single blade slipjoint.

Gary, that little stainless hits all the right buttons for me. So, now I have one on order. I found it without the ducks.

I started looking at stainless handled knives, considering getting one for my Uncle for Christmas. It's between an Utica and a Case right now. Interestingly, it started getting my interest, so now I am thinking about possibly getting one for myself at some point (or maybe dropping hints to my husband... lol). That or the Klein 44034 that has been on my list for a while, which has suddenly gotten a bump to a higher spot...

What about the buck gent, or that little case lockback ( don't remember what it's called ) both are very similar little all stainless Steel knives. Oh and while they're not 100% traditional there's the spyderco slipjoints such as the bug, and grasshopper. I don't remember what the 3rd one is called, but I think It's big enough to be one hand opening for so.e people so it's probably not as traditional.

I had a Cripple Creek serpentine jack with stainless handles about 25 yrs ago. Gave it away because it was so hard to open.--KV
