recently upgraded the screws and nuts on my 3,9, and 15. it's such a little change... but it looks so cool. and i can use them (the 15 anyway... not much call for smashing in my kitchen...) in the kitchen with less worry about water under the handle. none of my family, or friends are quite as excited as i am. am i alone here? do i have a problem?

No, you're not alone and the only problem is that you're just a bit late to the party. ;)

Stainless hardware is very popular. Dex would even include stainless hardware with a BK purchase.

Got a whole box of SS hardware in both large and tweener sized Beckers.....pretty much the first thing to get "customized" with my Beckers, even if I do nothing else. Such a small cost for a nice feature....so did you get the locking nuts for the large BK&T's? Tweeners are harder to do the nylock nut thing - since they sit proud on all but the middle bolt - but my big boys all get the nylock SS treatment. So cheap $$, much improvement attitude...;).

never thought of the lock nuts, but honestly, i don't think i'll need 'em. unfortunately, my knives don't get a whole lot of heavy usage. i don't feel loose screws are going to be much of a problem.
