Stainless or Nickel Silver Pins?

I am going to build several folders and am pondering the advantages of NS or SS pins for both pivot pins and securing scales, etc. There is 416 and 303 SS available to me. What the deal? thanks

Most people use hardened pre-made pivots, i think.....for sclae attachement it will depend on the folder. Many like to be taken apart, in which case you are talking about screws rather than pins....
