Try the welding shops. They carry down to .045, sometimes smaller. They sell it by the pound, and it comes in 3 foot lenghts.

Just dropped $56 at one yesterday for different rods, got 5-6lbs, can't remember. Also try onlinemetals.com.

thnx gene! i think im gonna try the welding shops tomorrow. i did order some from a industrial supply store but did not think i got a great deal. so im gonna check elsewhere..thnx again
