Found one for about 95 bucks. Is it too big for edc is it too noticeable in the pocket where it's going to stick out and people will have the well what's that shiney?is that a good price. What is your guys thoughts. I think its a cool looking and I like the history behind it.

First question should be is a >4" blade legal to carry where you are? On top of its legal status yes it is very large in the pocket and will get you stares when you flip it open.

It's flat and thin, so it carries nicely for it's size. I haven't received any comments while carrying it, but like any large folder it might draw some attention.

I think the G-10 Police 3 is a better knife, though.

If its legal to carry it where you live, tell anyone who doesn't like it to kiss your hiney.

Its a nice knife. The upside is that its flat and thin, and has that nice big blade. The slick scales help it slide into and out of your pocket easily, and because its thin it doesn't take up much pocket space. The downside is that doesn't have a lot of traction. I have them in both plain edge and serrated flavors. I bought one from a BF member a few years ago, and he begged me for months (it seems) to sell it back to him, until I finally cracked under the pressure and sold it to him.

Once you like something, doesn't matter what others think.
I like the police, though i figure popo would rather not see it out in the open.
It's one of those designs that defy time.
looking at it, i can't help but be awed by the genius in putting it together.
It looks absolutely perfect in either open and closed.

especially closed, with everything tucked in neatly.

Another plus is that you can sharpen the swedge since the handle covers it nicely. Go for it. The ss police is a classic folder.
