Stainless steel blade strength

Bud K is selling a reproduction of the Wermacht Trench Knife but with a stainless steel blade.
Does anyone have any info on what strenght the steel is, what the Rockwell number might be, the knife's origin or manufacture and well it will hold an edge?
It is selling for about 10.00 and I would bet that somebody reading this may have bought or used one.

Knowing Bud K it is probebly 420 steel with little temper and will hold an edge like a butter knife.

Dude, don't knock the edge holding ability of a butter knife... I mean seriously, I have butter knives which I've NEVER sharpened, even after years of use... They still cut like, well, a knife through butter...
