For a while ive been looking for a compact way of carrying water in my remora without having it be a bottle and today while i was at good ol wally world i saw these Stanley stainless steel flasks and i thought "thats perfect". The reason Id like a steel water container is so if need be i can boil water in it. I was wondering if anybody knew how the Stanley would fair or if they know of anything better.

I like the Titanium flasks made by SnowPeak, but they only hold about 5oz. or 150ml. I wouldn't try to boil water in a flask because the small opening could turn into a geyser.

It would? I thought that would be enough of a vent. anything i can do to help that?

Leave the cap off when you are heating it and you won't have a problem.

You sure as hell don't want to be boiling water in it with the cap ON.

Guyot Standard is the only way to go. The straight walls, single wall construction, thick gauge steel, and wide bottom and opening make it perfect if you're going to be boiling water. Holds 38 oz. of water, too.
