The PVD Investigator that I ordered last week from Howe's was advertised as Stainless. Still waiting on it, the USPS is taking it on a tour of the US.

Yes, it said stainless on their Site it's super light.

Look at the other PVD announcement and on RHK Website. Both aluminum and SS are offered PVD Black or FDE.
 
I will find out when it finally arrives, USPS has had the 2-Day Priority package now for 6 days and it still hasn't hit my city for delivery. Right now I'm not too pleased with Howe's anyway. The order I placed right before the PVD Investigator was a Copper Investigator that was advertised as plain copper without patina, but I got a Copper with patina. That's strike 1. If the PVD Investigator comes in and is aluminum and not stainless, that's strike 2. I wont give them a chance for strike 3. I just wont place any more orders with Howe's.

Issues like yours can be pain in the mail order world, but take issues like these directly to the vendor, or whine and cheese. Everyone one we deal with have great customer service and return policies, you will get much better results dealing with them directly, vs complaining in both of the new DLC product announcement threads.
