question for Stuart Branson
On your web site, fourth sheath from the bottom. What tool did you use for the grain effect? Thanks Trav

Paul if you know the answer, PLEASE give it to me . I was looking at Stuarts site, and thought I'd ask him. I'm always asking you for something, and thought i ought to give you a break. Trav

Travis, I looked at Stuart's web site and the third and fourth sheaths are both arrowhead basket weave and I didn't see any grain type stamping on either of them. I went into great detail explaining the arrowhead and then realized that wasn't what you were asking so I deleted it as wrong information.

My pebble grain stamps are Bob Beard's Pro Series and are really kind of expensive, and generally have to be special ordered so there is quite a wait period. Tandy/Leather factory has similar stamps in the E294 series in four different sizes and shapes. (E294-00, E294-01, E294-03, and E294-04). These are also MUCH less expensive. Check the Tandy/LF web site and other leather craft vendors as well.

Hi Travis.

Yes, Paul is right. It is the E294-01. I didn't know there was a E294. I thought there were only the other 3 sizes so it must be the 01 size. I use the E294-04 for the tight corners.

Paul, thanks for mentioning the Bob Beard's Pro Series. I didn't know that's what you use and I've been looking for some new ideas. I've even taken to butchering some of my unused Crafttool stamps to get new effects.
