Stamped 755 pocket clip??

Can anybody tell me what the deal is with 80% of the Benchmade 755's available on eBay all have had their stock titanium clips removed & replaced with a generic stamped steel clip?

my guess would be because the factory clip is a complete pita....it makes the knife tough to get in and out of your pocket, so mine sits at home in a dresser drawer.
 
Hmm, I've never had that problem Lee. My EDC is the 7505-132 that has the same clip, and I love it.
