So I can't help it, I like the stamped beckers better than the etched beckers. I know and get the reasoning behind the change. I understand that the etched knives have less chance of being faulty and there is now better quality control. But I can't help but like the way the stamped logos look after stripping the blades better than the way the etched logos look after stripping the blade even if they are enhanced with pcb Etchant.

First of all, does anyone agree with me?

Second, it is easy for me to find most stamped models now for sale. But some of the newer models are hard to find. Are there any stamped tweeners and/or bk10's out there or did ka-bar release them after the change to etched logos? To make it even more difficult, I don't like when the knives say "first edition" or anything like that either, lol. Picky, I know.

I feel like a bit more of a high roller with my fancy laser etched knives lol. But the majority of my Beckers are stamped. And they are all stripped. I liked the look of my bk-16 at first when I stripped it with no other mods, it looked “Clean” , I kinda regret etching it.

But from my understanding (please correct me if I'm wrong) other than the signed first production run knives there were no stamped tweeners, and no stamped kabar bk-10's

I use the term "first edition" because these knives tang do not have a cut out or that "hammer" thing coming out of the handles.it make it easier for people to know wich becker you re talking about in my opinion.
