Stamping a knife

Hey yall,,, need some help,,, a buddy of mine ordered me a hot stamp so i could put a small FBF (Fat bastard forge) on my knives
While i appreciate the offer and new tool,,, ive never stamped one,,, especially very thin chef and fillet knives,,, i usually make them from 1095 1/16" thick steel,,, i wanna be able to do it without warpinf them...
Any help is appreciated

As a guy that stamps his blades I agree with Marc, on that thickness, etch. Another thought I like to pass on. You should think of your mark as a way to find you. If I wanted to find you how would Googling FBF work out? Fat Bastard Forge would probably lead me to you if yo've been making knives for a while and posting here and there. Something to think on.
