I just learned that Stan Fujisaka passed away at home on December 31st. He will be sorely missed by all those who knew him and our community is poorer for his passing.

My condolences to his family, we've lost another member of the knife community who will be missed.

I didn't know him, only his work, smoke and prayers from NEPA going out to his family and friends.

RIP Stan......Great artist whose work will be sorely missed

We were talking about this yesterday, such a great loss. He was the master of bolstered gentleman's folders.

Several custom knife makers, including Ken Onion credit Stanley for imparting their skills. He was a gentlemen in all senses and will be missed.

Wow. Just started looking into his work not a couple days ago (fairly new to knives) but that's unfortunate.
Prayers and condolences to his family, R.I.P good sir.

Stanley was an amazing man and a pretty talented knife maker as well. My wife and I were lucky enough to call him a friend. He was a joy to be around and the world is a poorer place without him.

R.I.P. Stanley. You are missed.
