This is the first Bowie Ive finished in a couple weeks, been in Texas picking up a truck and scouting some deer on my brothers place. Any how, nothing fancy, just a simple "Standard" Bowie, forged from W2 round bar, has a 10 x 2 blade, 3/8" thick at ricasso, hand sanded/hand polished to show hamon but still hold up under hard use. Handle is Black Walnut, guard/pins are SS. Tang is nearly as wide as ricasso and runs to within 1/4" of handles end.

Thanks guys, still needs a few coats of finish on the handle, and a nice sheath.

Done in typical Lamey fashion, which means fantastic!

Matt, shame on me! I missed a nice 8pt @ 14yds the other morning with my longbow, sailed right over his back, pick a spot!!!

Thanks again, this one is headed to Austria after the sheath is finished.

Steve, its still early in the season yet. When i was in TX scouting around on my brothers place I saw at least 10 nice bucks, the first of which was a 12 point that i WALKED to within 15 yards of. He was looking dead at me with no worries in the world. Next day I was kicking around in the dirt looking for arrow heads, when i turned to leave there was a big 8 staring at me and likely wondering what the hell i was doing, from about 12 yards.
