I've seen some knives made by Standard Knife Co. They look to be copies of Case knives. In fact, the blades are stamped Case. The badge on the knives says Standard.

Standard Knife Co. is a W.R. Case family brand- in other words, Standard is Case and Case is Standard. The original Standard Knife Company (according to Case's website) was started in 1901 by Dean and Elliott Case. In 1903, Elliott Case succumbed to typhus fever and the company ceased manufaturing the knives.
All of this info and more found on the Case website.

Case occasionally releases knives under one of the historical brands associated with the entire Case family. Since collectors are one of their primary audiences, the more variety of brand names, patterns, and handle materials they can come out with the more appeal there is to a collector to keep buying the new products.

They are essentially identical knives to existing Case patterns except for the shield, tang stamp, packaging, blade embellishments, and often there is a specific handle material and jigging pattern reserved for the particular brand.

Think of the new Standard Knife Company as a limited run of modern case knives. Buy a few if they grab your attention.
