standard or rookies

Hi all

I would like to have a compact size serrated folders that will last for a long long time. I am now considering to buy either standard or rookies. What's the difference between these two models? They appear very similar, except that rookies has longer blade. Can't find the info about the blade thickness of the rookies. Could you help?

The Standard has a bogger handle and thicker blade. If your hands are large you may find the Standard more comnfortable. The Rookie is a really nice knife though. I carry one pretty frequently. The handle is small, but it does pack alot of blade. It is a shame that both of these are being discontinued. They are really good designs.

Thanks CF. Really want to get both before they dissappear from the market. I came to this knife thing too late. Already missed the Black Hawk. Got to make the decision quick.
