I missed my older Standard in stainless handles (unradiused edges). I am ready for the G10 scaled version but its handle dimensions seem a bit smaller than my original stainless one. I believe the G10 Standard has the same handle as the G10 Harpy, correct? Is the G10 Rookie then a better choice? It' s blade length and OAL is only a tad larger but its handles seem to be a bit fuller as well. Any experience folks?

I wish I could help you out. I have the Standard, but I don't have the Harpy (sure wish I did, but it hasn't made it high enough on the list to buy yet, so it probably never will, since they're discontinued... but, I digress). It certainly appears that the handle of the Standard G10 is identical to that of the Harpy. I can tell you for certain that the handle of the Standard is just enough, and not one bit more, for this guy with rather small hands. It IS smaller than the Native handle. I haven't ever picked up a Rookie, either. But, just looking at it in the cases, it doesn't appear to be much bigger than the Standard handle. Actually, I just looked in the catalog, and the best I can subtract fractions

, they are identical length of handle. 3.625 (3 5/8) inches.

I have a Rookie and a Standard. If anything, the Standard seems a bit more substantial in the hand than the Rookie. The Rookie is good but it feels a bit small to me. The Standard is actually quite a good fit for me and my hands are fairly large.
