Thats where I am right now. Its payday. I got a LITTLE overtime last week...enough for one knife. I'm about to pull the trigger on a MKI. But Ka-Bar is overdue and could puke up a Machax or BK14 handles at any moment. When I consider the "waiting for the bus" principle, the second make a purchase, something I was waiting on will get released. BOOM! Land mine.

So I think I'm going to take one for the team and order the MKI. This will inevitably trigger a release of the machax.

Therefore....when Ka-Bar announces the availability of the BK4 today or monday, thank me for making it happen! ;)

Its done. I even selected overnight shipping to speed up the bus. Enjoy your machax's!

I'll make sure there's a Machax left for you to get.

Though I've told myself over and over that I don't need the Machax, I'm checking all over for it every day. It's useless to try and talk myself out of it. :D I went to the river store today and thought I'd order a 5 to tide myself over and they are OOS, estimating 2-4 weeks. Maybe we'll see the newer ones then?

I'm waiting for the Tweeners (I know, I know, so is everyone) but I hear the call of a BK7 that's getting awful hard to resist.

Murphy's Law- I'm goin crazy waitin on my Becker to arrive, so I just went down to a local store that has carried BK11s every time I have been there in the last 6 months, figured fondling and playing with a 11 might hold me over until my Big BK arrived. Of Course they didnt have any in stock the One time I decide to buy it!

AAAARRRRRRRRGH!!!!!!!!!

Thats why I love having Amazon Prime. If I am REEEEALLY tweaking out I can just cough up an extra $3.99 and get it delivered the next day. Thats what I did this morning on the MK I. It's been too long since I bought another knife. I just watched the movie "In Time", and the whole time I gave my BK9 the wet/dry backrub and took the patina off and brought it back to a shiny state. Looks better with the new black sheath. But mods dont cut it anymore. Sometimes you just gotta buy something new. I bought all three of the CRKT Folts Minimalists, and while they are nice neck knives, they don't give you the thrill of a new big bad Becker.

I love the Folts Minimalists... They are great little knives, for the price. I tend to carry the tanto the most. But the wharncliff is also real nice.

believe me, Ive been kickin myself for not signing up for Prime. I really dont like online shopping so this is only like the 3rd thing Ive ever bought online. always preferred "look it over in person, cash&carry" shoppin but I live in the sticks, so hard to find Anything locally.
