Guys, I'm not here regularly, but always like the great info provided by y'all. I just found this on the ESEE forum and thought I'd share it. Check out the video review: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ABma4z1zX4g

I can't deal spot, but they can be found online at a neighborhood/corner place that isn't common for outdoor goods. I hope it's OK to say that. I didn't want someone to not look there since the deal seems outstanding. Take care.

Interesting. I hadn't seen these before. I'll have to check it out sometime.

Thought about getting one of these myself. Cool set up.

I just picked up one of these today at Target. It's a good quality bit of gear for a reasonable price.

I bought one last year at Eddie Bauer, for $19.95 . It works great for making tea for me & my wife when we are out in the boonies !!!

Thanks to you guys, I made my first twig stove to go with this Stanley cook set. I used a can that had Goya pinto beans in it. It worked perferctly for the Stanley pot. I used cut coat hanger run through two sets of holes to supprt the pot. It all worked great, but by the time I had bubbles, which took about 6 minutes, my fire was dying and I needed to go in anyway. If I had used the lid it would have also sped things up. Thanks for the ideas.

I bought one too. My stainless steel bottle nests inside it without the lid. I think its cool and will definitely get some use. I picked it up at Target on sale for $14 too.

I also picked up a couple of 5.11 H2O carriers on sale online and they look like they were made to carry that Stanley cook set. The carriers were only on sell in the Tac OD color (I had to put them in the cart to see the price, but the price was smoking since I also had a coupon code), but it's a nice green. It leaves about an inch of space so I'm going to see if I can squeeze my little twig stove in there somehow for a compact and light weight cooking (boiling) kit. Thanks and take care.

will this stove set sit inside the gsi cup? or is it to fat. this could be a killer kit if it will fit inside one of the cups. then you can leave the supplied cups out and fill the inside with your stove ect.

Got this tonight. Fairly nice set up.

sweet. thanks. I'll be checking the local targets tonight for a couple. I called and no one had a clue what I was talking about. did you guys find them in the camping section or outdoors area?

It was next to the Thermos type stuff, near camping.

yeah I found 3 of them and went ahead and grabbed 2. how stupid are the people who work there lol. I called and spoke to 3 different folks who worked in sporting goods section and there was none left but they knew what I was talking about lol. I roll up and less than 2 minutes in the store found them. I'm stoked. thanks op for the review. great set for killer price imo.

Good to see you found some. I think it's an awesome price as well. I may pick up another just to keep in my truck.

yeah I wanted to be nice and leave one but I think I'm going to go back and get another one and throw it in the truck too. for 15 bucks it's a killer little cook kit and pretty damn light weight too.
