I just picked up a Stanley Whittler off of E-bay that was listed as being made by Camillus for $18.00 Does anyone know if Camillus really made these. It is actually a very well made knife with 440 Stainless blades. F\F is very good and the blades came very sharp. Any one else own one?

I have the same knife and your correct it was made by Camillus. I agree F/F is really good and blades came nice n sharp.

I remember, now that you mention it, Eric. One of the clues it's a Camillus, is the coping blade up next to the main. And then there's the general shape.

Yep,
Thats the one, pretty nice knife for $18.00 shipped. Glad to know Camillus made it. Now on to the Stanley trapper.

I did not get the trapper as the spey blade is serrated.
Did not appeal to me.

I am not a big fan of serrations either, but do own some Tacticals with serrations and they do work quite well on heavy duty cardboard and strapping tape. Any way I cant go wrong with an $18.00 Made in the USA knife.
