Just got a couple today from Ragnar at the Ragweed Forge! They look identical to the Kissing Crane Brown Mule but, made in Italy. I thought the carbon blades were not going to be so hot being made in Italy but, they are really good carbon blades. They both sliced newsprint cleanly after a slight touchup on the old crockstick & cut weedeater line with no micro dent in the steel. They are both on the stiff side to open with no blade play. They open with a nice Thwack sound! These are really nice working knives to consider. Around 8 bucks for the 3 1/2 inch closed model. I bought the last two 4 inch closed models and am glad I did!

Thanks for the review:thumbup: . I just purchased a Mora from Ragnar, I have a feeling a sodbuster will be next. They have hardwood handles, yes? How do they look as far a grain/finish?

The two Stanley Sodbusters I have are pretty decent in fit & finish in my opinion. They are not without some minor cosmetic flaws such as seeing a little daylight through the backspring. They are great user knives for around 8 bucks. The carbon steel blade appears to be top notch & heat treated very well. I would buy them again in a minute!
