What is special or different about a Star benza or Startac than a normal Sebenza.
I realise there are the lines on the Star benza but anything different about the knife?

Thanks
Anthony

has logo on clip and comes with wc bead on the lanyard. the newer models also come with double lugs. other than that the construction and material and size is identical.

It is made by CRK exclusively for Wilson Combat. You cannot get the star pattern from any other dealer. Other than that, there is no difference.

I have the Starbenza 25 and love the lines in the handle. If the extra doesn't bother you, I would suggest getting it.

There is no difference other than what you mentioned, but I like the difference enough to justify the extra costs. I just bought a Wilson Combat 25 and traded a small Starbenza for a Large Starbenza and I like each one better than their plain handled versions, which are now all sold or traded. The extra traction and the visual adds just the right touch, and I figure if I am spening $445 for a knife, I might as well spend $470 for a version that I will like more.
I also like the idea of anodizing the burst in gold sometime. I think that could look nice.

Ccc has my large now and I have his small. For me the extra little bit of grip from the grooves makes all the difference. Plus they look great!

I got mine because of long term plans. Although I've never seen an inlay fall out of a CRK, I'm just so OCD about it. I keep thinking, "What if?"
So, I got the Large Starbenza. It gives me a great traction, but there's no inlay that could potentially fall out. Again, I've never seen it happen but I have personally had a couple where the inlay would shift and move.
Lastly, I have a Wilson Combat Beretta 92a1, so they pair nicely. (:

If an inlay feel out, I doubt it would cost you a dime. That would be a warranty issue for sure. I've also never heard of that happening.
