I know I'm a sentamental old fart but, This winter I started up collecting knives again.(32 bucks in the last 2 months) I found in a closet my first buck I had bought in the late 70's (a 500 w/micarta handles) it was in rough shape! The blade half ground away etc. A couple of weeks ago I posted as to the possibility of getting it restored. Joe Houser
suggested I could send it in and take a chance.
Today, the ups man brought my buck back!!It looks fantastic!!!!!I never thought I would see it looking so good. I Am thrilled beyond belief. This customer service is unreal, I mean this is a 20+ year old knife. The charge for bringing this back to me to hand on was $00.00 Thank you, Thank you,Thank you, Joe Houser, to whoever worked on it and to Jane Davey who typed out the order. I know I'm blubbering but thanks.....

Welcome to customer service, Buck style! Joe got me hooked, too, with this super service.
There is not a company anywhere that gives better service, before OR after the sale.

But you were supposed to keep it a secret!
;-)
I am glad you liked the knife Mike, That was some pretty fancy work you had on the handle.

Take care,

Great story (and typical of Buck from what I hear). How 'bout posting a photo of the knife?

Really nice looking handle work, Mike. Do
you have any other knives that you have
customized?

Hi Mike,
Your knife is a beauty but to be honest with you I am not surprised at all about the customer service you got from Joe Houser and the fine folks at Buck knives. I recently had my 532MS repaired on Joe's suggestions and the knife came back absolutely wonderful. We're really fortunate that a company like Buck watches out for their customers and we're really lucky to have Joe here watching out for us!

Thumbs up for the folks at Buck Knives.
