Starmate clip??

I have a Starmate with a black clip on it and the magazine article has a silver clip on it. What is the deal with this? If anyone can tell me I would be more than happy. Thanks -CL

I believe Spyderco have gone to black on this and the current Military models. Many have expressed the desire for a low profile clip that won' t attract as much attention.

I have 2 of the first Starmates released and they came with silver clips. I ordered the black clips from SFO and replaced the silver ones. You could call Charlie at SFO and I'm sure he has the silver clips for about 3.50 each like the black however if he doesn't let me know and I'll sell you mine.

CL - Spyderco is alwsays changing, improving, evolving. Currently, all Starmates come with black clips.
