The Wegner Junior is my favorite "little" folder !

I find it interesting that Fred thinks of the Starmate as a utility knife and the Military as a tactical. Is it mostly due to the quickness of deployment or is it something else? Maybe the blade shape or the handle?

I do agree that sometimes knives marketed as utilitarian are excellent defensive tools. The full size Wegner for example. It is marketed as a folding hunter but would make an excellent defensive knife.
