Starmate question

Ithas a single nested liner like the military. The clip is similar to the military but it doesnt have that slight curve like the military. Very tough and beautiful knife. I just wish I got plain edge instead of partially serrated.

Clip is similar to the Military, with the adjusting pivot pin located on the same side.
Mine's plain-edge, though I can't bear to use it at the moment.

Hello,

I use my Starmate daily and without any pity.
(instead of folding it I thrust it on wood while working)
After 10 days of that treatment I have only noticed some loose in the pivot and the tip of the point of the blade is a little dull.

We have put it in a vise and were able to delock the Starmate after turning the handle and pushing in the same time (very very hard) like for the Military.

It's a real solid lock on a real solid knife.

Cheers,

JM

"Delock" means to have a lock failure...
Sorry but sometimes (some says often) I miss vocabulary !

Cheeers,

JM
