Starmate. The Knife from outer space!

Hello Spyderomites !

Today at Perrin City, we have the chance to try and test and use and abuse the Starmate in its plain edge version.

IMHO this is an outstanding folder !!!
BEtter than the Mighty Military !

I have tried some slashes and thrusts on my mother in law, and this is the first time I got that kind of result with a folder.

The blade is heavy and beautifully designed.
The knife is low profile until the blade is displayed...

I think, finally it could come from outer space. "Terzuola" anyway it's not a name from our planet !
Perharps it's a battle cry ?
Perharps the Starmate is the first step in earthlinks understanding alien technology ?

Now I will see what Fred think about it.
But he doesn't believe in little green men...

But when I see the edge holding of that heavy blade... as far as I am concern I know the invasion has allready begun.

Cheers,
JM

I would love to see Fred do a review of the Starmate. His reviews are top notch. How soon can we expect one?

DAY TWO !

Also,

The Starmate is the sharpest Spyderco I have ever used !
And its stay incredibly sharp.
What a penetration power also !

Amazing !

We need to find a new adjective for "better than excellent" !
"Goregeous" ?

Cheers,
JM

JM,

As you've undoubtedly noted elsewhere, I'm a big fan of the Military. But, and I've already posted this too, I've come to favor the Starmate over the Military by just a tad. Given my praise for the Military, this is really saying something about the Starmate

Bob,

Thank you BOB !

That's true !

I think real fan from the Military can only fall in loave with Starmate.

The Starmate is standing on the shoulders of a giant: the C36 !

Cheers,
JM

(As the "search" fonction is not working anymore I was not able to find the previous threads about the Starmate... )

"Outer space"? Don't think so, it's so perfectly adapted to life here on Earth.

It's so sharp and stays sharp so long it's actually replaced one of my fixed blade knives for most tasks in the garden, and day before yesterday when I had a splinter in my thumb, it was without doubt sharp enough for the surgery to remove the splinter, instead of the smaller "scalpel-like" knives which would have been first choice previously. And this after going more than a month since last sharpening.

Yes !

this is true !

Now we need to worship the Starmate !
After the Moran, the Military...

The Starmate is creating the Spyderco State Of Art Knives Trinity ! ;-)

Really I LOVE that knife.

Cheers,
JM
