I haven't spent much time around here for a while so forgive me if this has been brought up before. I did a search and did't come up with anything about it. I got a new small decorated Sebenza today and it is called the Stars and Stripes pattern. Does anyone else here have one? I think it is the best looking pattern of all the decorated Sebenzas. It has a date of February 27, 2002. The blade is S30V.

I just went to the Chris Reeve website and found the stars and stripes graphic there. Mine is the one shaped like the American flag. It is a beauty.

Since the Stars and Stripes was introduced, I have always thought it was the nicest design going. I've been surprised that it hasn't got more attention here. I am saving my pennies for one as we speak.:)

How long did you have to wait to get yours?

I went to a gun show today and found it. A knife dealer, that I get most of my knives from, was there. He got me one. I didn't know he was going to have it. It was a great surprise. When I was getting ready to leave, he said he had something else I might like. It was a Greg Lightfoot Predator. I took it, too. It was a great gun show, considering I wasn't planning on buying anything today.

Well, I was saving for a Mnandi.... Looks like I'll have to save a little longer. That is a great design and congrats on your purchase.

There seems to be all Basic Members here, but it would be great if someone could post some nice shots of the Stars and Stripes. I know there is the one on the CRK site, but more is always better;).

Thanks tallpaul. It looks like the Stars and Stripes model that you have is really not very red and blue. It doesn't appear the thumbplug is blue either (I know they fade, but it doesn't look even a little blue). Is yours red and blue and it is just not showing up well on the picture or did you get an early one that wasn't red and blue?

There was one on the Reeve's table at the ECCKS show yesterday. At least it was there for a few minutes.
TallPaul, we missed you in NY.

I believe it was one of the first if not the first.. the color wasn't vibrant but was there. The pictures are poor and are actually scans.... I will get a good camera and learn how to use it,I will get a good camera and learn how to use it, I will get a good camera and learn how to use it.... I missed you guys in NY too. I really wanted too but it is busy and If I go east again without goin to Georgia to see my niece and nephew first, I will be in very big trouble
