Sent Yangdu a email letting her know to add a price for the Gangawalla. Beautiful thing that one. And Antler. Be still my heart.

That Katana is calling too! I've got a Kumar Everest Katana, wood handle, 36" and 45oz. Should I get it's slightly heavier brother? Hmmm....must ponder a bit on this one, won't be long though, so if you want it, don't take too long.

Still no DD, hmmm....

Darn, she didn't listen to me. I told her to post it for 750 and we'd split it.
Seems like a really great deal on a beautiful knife.
Give it a good home Cul.

Man that katana is incredible. I don't think any Kami makes a sword as well as Kumar.

I'm in the market for a chiruwa katana. If they keep comming out like that, I would have no choice but to pounce:D

Tis a beautiful Katana aint it:thumbsup: Cul you know that was a steel! Beautiful rig and grats!

The only person I think can make a sword better with the weight distribution is Rajkumar, but from what I have discussed with auntie, I think him coming back, may be wishful thinking...:(

That Katana is singing! I want it, but I already have one, and it's just a tad lighter....should I incur the wrath of the wife? It is Chinese New Year after all, and she wasn't upset when I got the Ganjawalla, I'm afraid to push my luck. While I'm pondering my fate, I also like the UF! Man, I'm dead....

I'm confused. Isn't this the Berk Special? I have a gangaola (gangawalla?) and it's a much smaller, BAS-class knife.

That Gangawalla by Kumar is past being just wonderful... It's art! I got my computer and host mail issues solved and am back at last!
A good new year to you all, and best of all Tam's (my wife) health continues to be amazing...

Dino in Reno

Great to hear from you Dino! Glad to hear that all is well, and that Tam is doing amazing. You two are very special, and we missed you the last time we were up in Reno, hope to see you soon. Take care!

I can't remember seeing another Ultimate Fighter with a h0rn handle. If someone is on the fence about this one, consider that it's an unusual combination of blade design and handle material.

I wondered about that myself. I didn't recall ever seeing a horn handled one either.

Glad it wasn't just me. Thing looks even better just thinking about that.

David, you need it to go with your Purna. The sheath is a good design for the belt. I just got one like this in wood handle. Bought another previously by Kumar. It’s lighter and longer than my Purna. First one I got had 4 rivets. Last one had 3 and this one has 2. Love them all!

Curious who bought the Ultimate Fighter? What do you think about it?
I couldn't resist, sniped it up pretty quick. Very glad I did, too, as it is just such a prize piece. Top notch work by Kumar as expected, the handle is a gripper and the blade finish is perfect. I don't partake of any martial arts so I can't comment on any aspect of it as a fighter, but the balance on this is among the best large kukris I've held. Between the distal taper and the tang, most weight is sitting right on top of your grip, as opposed to in front of it. Haven't given it more than a couple practice swings, but M43 is my workhorse and standard and I'd much rather swing this one.
Quick comparison of a well loved M43 within an inch and an ounce of the Fighter.

I'll try and take a picture of the tangs to compare later.

Thank you Turth for posting. This knife has become one of my favorites as well. I purchased an Ultimate Fighter made by Kumar about 6 months ago and it became one of my favorites. I placed a special order for another right after that and received it several weeks ago. He must have made this one and shipped it with my order also.
Thank you for taking the time to respond. I just want an opinion of Kumars take on the UF!
I’ll try to post a photo of my Purna and my first Kumar UF
