The "lightweight Tarwar" is now one of my favorite blades. I put the name in quotes because it's really a katana with a guard. A little straighter than most katanas, but the upswept front portion makes up for that. It feels great in the hand. The blade is light enough to use one-handed, but the handle is long enough for a two-hand grip.

Based on the pictures I expected that the handle would be narrower than I usually like, but I figured if necessary I could add a hemp wrap. Now that I have it, the handle is only slightly too narrow, so I'll probably leave it as is. The guard and butt cap are both steel, which is a plus. The fullers are as good as in the second picture.

All in all, a home run by Anil Kami.
 
Dang.. I need to be faster. Some beautiful pieces there.
QQ.. do the lengths include the handle? I presume so..
