I like both of them KLVUKS! I still havent worn out aunti's cardboard sheath with the DHL tape on mine. It fits so well i thought about fiberglassing over it and duct taping a frog to it or something:D
 
I really like getting those kami medical sheaths though when I can, don't know if auntie still has them but guys dont forget something is available either with local leathersmiths like wildman and pugs -- but pick up a med sheath whenever you can, goes straight to helping out.(if ii remember right)

and yeah I have two kvluks that have already seen as much use as my main siru, love the kvluk and its utility.
 
I always get the Kami medical sheaths. She still has them and they are a great value.
 
I love the new Aaurupati wood handles. They feel less spongy than the old ones. I don't know if they'll soak up linseed oil, but I'm going to find out.
 
I know they soak up mineral oil! In my soak test post I think I called it Asare but it was actually Aurupati. Oh well. Linseed oil should do well! It actually dries out.

ulu they are leather sheaths donated by a forum member to be sold for medical funds for the kami, he gave about 2 or 300 hundred at the time, and I understand she still has a few-- just include in any post to buy a kvluk, please include kami medical sheath for another 15-20-30 dollars whatever you feel like donating for it more than 15 ( i think) cant remember exactly how i went about it but I know i got 2 with my 2 kvluks and i love them!
 
I think they are 20 bucks. Have been as long as I've know about them. Worth way more than that, great value.
 
I really think their should be a sticky or an option on the main website for the medical fund kami sheaths or maybe just a donate button. I don't know how many sheaths are left but many of us newer to the fold would buy them up if we knew about them. BTW awesome KLUVKS.

I see a post and think I'll do the search and post the link but you beat me every single time.

And I'm also sure we all appreciate your help to Auntie and HI on these sheaths.
