Most of his blades don't look like this one. Just the first few, I think they need a special name. Classic dui chirra?

I always buy several of the models I like, thamar and purna are no different ( as I will just about collect anything they make)--best thing about HI is that no matter if you buy two of the "same" type, they are not the same.
 
Yep, and that's what makes them so great! I'll do some comp photos of the two Gopte knives I bought. The one I gifted my brother is very sirupate like, whilst the one I kept for myself had a bit of a belly. Same weight, the Sirupate-ish one is a bit longer, and the funny thing is, both blades are the same width. Both perform the same, but look ever so slightly different.
 
darn sharks, i would have bought that in a heartbeat, been waiting forever for a curvy grip like that on a fullered model, and i missed the bus.

I agree totally, each and everyone is a individual masterpiece. My jaw hit the ground when I saw that curved handle. Very sexy!

Yup me wife just asked me when I got home Friday with two more new knives in the cherished triangle box just how many more I needed.
The answer is crystal clear to me, at least one more, one of these.

I just got a Yek Chirra and it's awesome, only right it has a Dui to call a roommate, am I right or what?
