Hey Guys, started another little knife today i'm calling it the Mini Choppa', its 6.5" total length, 3" cutting edge, made from 440C, just roughed it out now with my disc grinder so i'm not sure what i'm going to end up with, i tend to change my mind as i go, but i wanted to start this thread to keep track of the progress, and to show anyone interested as well... OK that's all for now... day 1!

I have been a little busy lately so i haven't been able to do much on this thing, but today i had all day to work on it so here we are as of today!

Nice work, how did you finish it? Im thinking about getting some steel to play around with to make a Hisshou style blade.

Thanks!, it's not quite finished yet, i'm still sanding and at the moment i'm on 600 grit, i may just leave it there and start another one, i'm not really loving this blade, i should have measured the holes instead of eyeing them :(. you should give it a try tho its lots of fun!

well i think this is the end of this project, it didn't turn out how i wanted it so i'll chalk it up to a learning experience and start a new one!, i tried bluing it and it sorta worked and looks OK but isn't very even... i did get it hardened half decent and its sharp as hell. THE END!
