I want to start the year off right and say 'Thanks' to all forum members for there efforts in making the Buck forum a great place for all folks to visit. New or old you have shown consideration and knowledge to all. Even the newbie's with only 1 post. David Martin calls coyotes and makes a purposed effort in greeting new folks and starting posts for decent spirited educational discussion. Oregon continues his fight against Buck fakes and gives us wildlife photos to enjoy. Of course we all greatly appreciate ITE and the Sunday Picture show and always enjoy Haebbie's photos from across the pond. There are numerous others, also who have continued to be active contributors and some have even become the go-to guys for particular models. I can even sense a couple are becoming 300 experts and I will have to start asking them for answers in the near future. We all enjoy posts when Buck employees write something or offer solutions and I encourage that even more. emw479, as the WM knife guy, is visiting often and that is great for our forum. I especially appreciate the guys still here and kicking from "back when Heck was a pup" as a valued part of the Buck forum experience please keep visiting and posting. I use to think we had a ways to go to beat the Traditional forum folks for the best forum on the Blade Show, but I believe we can hold our own with them now. Continue to tell your Buck knife adventures, and travels and yes, even the problems. You have all gotten really good with photos so lets keep them coming.
Keep your powder dry in the new year and your edges sharp. With appreciation on how you make this volunteer effort of moderation very easy. 300Bucks.

I personally would like to thank 300 for all is info and support in a writing endeavor he "gently" suggested. Also being a newbie here I appreciate all the knowledgeable members and their generosity.

Yes, it is better than some other Forums and I enjoy my time spent here chatting. Thanks gents, DM

I love it here, no shortage of friendly and helpful folks. I've felt very welcome :)

Thank you all, and thanks 300!

I'm no stranger to forums. I've been on them since the days when I couldn't be on the phone and internet at the same time.
While I still browse different forums on different interests, this is the only forum I visit daily. I'm not talking about Blade Forums in general; the Buck forums specifically. I find a lot of information, constructive debates and discussions, and an overall eagerness to be helpful the vast majority of the time.

So... cheers to the moderators for keeping things on a positive path, and more so cheers to the members here who make their jobs easy!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Very nicely written 300. I've been a BF member for awhile but didn't visit the Buck forum too often, and as my interests in Buck knives increased, I've been graciously welcomed with my myriad goofy questions which has really helped my knowledge level and appreciation for the wonderful folks here on the forum that gladly share their experiences and information. Even when I go off topic most of the time. :)

Thank you!

Very well written 300 and thank you to all who make the Buck portion of this forum what it is. ITE's Sunday Picture Show is for me the hi-lite to every weekend. The knowledge of the posters here is unsurpassed.
I have learned quite a bit from you all and pick up new information almost daily. What a wonderful bunch.

Great post Craig,

This is a fantastic group of folks! I learn something new here each week.

Thanks to all of you.

JB

A big thanks to you, 300, for the knowledge and info that you share here on the Buck forum. I enjoy it very much, and have learned a lot about the only brand that I carry, and collect.

I'll echo what the others have said - I like this place and these people (and I like Buck Knives!) OH

This is by far the best knife sub-forum. Always friendly responses and no egos - just like the Buck family values.

300Bucks, thanks for your gentlemanly approach to moderating. You handle "situations" with class.

I'll drink to that!

Happy new year, everyone! Love the Buck subforum!

This is a very good forum!

I appreciate the people here who know their BUCK knives and to the others, like me, who may not have owned their Buck knives for a long, long time too.

I mentioned how nice the people were HERE when I spoke to the Buck Knife people in Idaho today too.

I wanted to know what items that they had in stock for the kitchen knives and a couple of other things.

Thank you!

Cate
