Hey guys, I've just finished designing 3d renders of what I want my knive to look like, did the scales, blade and lock. One thing though, I can't seem to find ANY nice bolts and pivots.

I'd like my pivot to have a beefy 1/4, 3/8 thick head. I've looked at many knifemaking supplies website and STILL havent found anything remotely decent or big enough to suit the estheatics of the knife or it's use!

Thanks!

use any machine screw you want for size, thread it into the bushing/pivot. Then you can do anything you desire to the head of the bold. Filework, gold pate, grit blast, polish, oxide black.... the possibilities are endless.

I have a local bolt store. They have ANYTHING I want. I have never been there to buy a size or type of screw/nut/bolt/washer/flange..... and walked away empty handed.

Getting ready to go there in the next week or two and see about pivot assemblies for a knife I wanna make.

Then get a shoulder bolt, Cut it to the length you want and drill and tap the shaft for a screw on the other side to capture it.
