I had a revelation. With all of the people who have left us recently, I was thinking," Boy, nobody really needs to say anything, we all know how much these people meant to us."

And then I thought

"Boy, these people don't need defending, my country doesnt need defending, my faith doesnt need defending against the slander of the childish."

So, I am still proud of my country and my family and my friends. I will die for them if need be. I will not waste my time arguing with those whose lives are so small that they see fit to say unkind things about them. That is a waste of my time. I had someone teach me that lesson tonight, and I am grateful for it.
Stupid me, I thought he was telling me to shut up.
It took me two days to realize he was telling me that I was an (sort of)important person in some circles, and lots of people listened to what I said, so if I say something loud, it should be important and it should be useful. (or at least extremely humorous)

Holy schneikies batman, I feel like a grown up!

A pal took me up in his small plane and dove so I could experience weighlessness. I did, and promptly farted like an astronaut.

About 5 or 6 years ago, I had a kind of revelation which compelled me to put pen to paper – the result of my scribbles are below. I originally (and unofficially) dedicated it to my two grand-daughters who have not yet seen it. In fact, only a few souls who I trust not double up with laughter have been shown it: My Mother cried when she read it and wouldn’t say why.

I kind of understand what you mean, Danny.

I just call it ‘Vision’……..because it was, I suppose.

You alone must decide what you wish to achieve,
because only you can shape your destiny.
Understand from the moment of decision
that your capabilities are limitless.

Close your eyes and reach down with your mind
to tap the planet’s vital forces
that flow around your feet, ready to energise you.
Become as one with the elements and use them.
Harness their boundless power
and grow until you fill your imagination,
Then reach into the heavens to seize the lightning
that gathers as you summon it by will alone.

Speak in a gentle voice that echoes from the mountain tops,
and travel in the wind
to places of clear sight and inner peace.
Fear not the jealousy of those

and the limits of their vision
do not allow them to see
what they could become.​

I'm sitting here laughing my a** off while shaking my head at you Munk. You really need to write a book....honestly!
