that would basically be a BK9 with bad balance -- DerekH made one a few years back, and it was not the raging success he hoped for.

That's a bummer I guess that's why there isn't one I sure like the profile of the 2 the BEST of all the Beckers the 16 too They both have nice figures

The model 2 is interesting, but they lost me with the hollow grind.

I normally dont like hollow ground as much but in the right material one of its biggest flaws is dealt with by the strength of the steel imo.
I gotta be honest, I am not normally a spend 300+ dollars on a knife kinda guy, but I think I might have to buy one of these.

Your right it does. Maybe I was looking at the wrong knife but I swear yesterday it said hollow in the specs.
