The wife and I are planning to RV through out our great country now that we have all the kids out from under our roof. And I've been thinking a knife or two that commemrates each State visited would make a nice collection. I was thinking like a Buck 110 for California, a Harley knife for Wiscocsin, and/or noted custom knives of the State visited. What would be your ideas?
Thanks Jerry

I think you'll have no problem finding a quality custom maker in every state. The idea of finding them, visiting them, and collecting their work could add some extra structure to your trip. But, with a custom knife averaging maybe $200, the cost would be $10,000.

My budget will only allow a few customs what I'm more interested in is knives that define each State as Matt stated an Arkansas toothpick, and Bowie from Texas. Any other ideas??

Thats a cool idea. I tried it with shotglasses from every airport in a different state, but lost interest real quick. The knife thing would have been much better for me to try :)

Jerry, if your RV could float and had a prop or sails, you could pick up a Mayo TNT or something from Ken Onion.

For Alaska you can get a skinner from Knives of Alaska or a Case Kodiak if you ever visit my island :)

You may also want to grab a knife from That dreaded company Smith and Wesson if you're in Massachusetts:D

When you get to Florida pick up something from Randall Made Knives.

You might want to pick up something from Spyderco if you're in Colorado. I know I would.

brandon:rolleyes:
