I STARTED A THREAD YESTERDAY IN THE EXCHANGE, INDIVIDUAL FOLDING KNIFES, TITLE IS: KNIFE SALE! VARIOUS BRANDS. IT NOW SHOWS THREAD STATUS NO LONGER OPEN FOR REPLIES ON MY COMPUTER, NOT ON MY CELL PHONE. WHY? HOW CAN THIS BE FIXED? THANK YOU.

This thread? It is still open for replies when I look at it?

And just a heads up, on the internet using all CAPS is considered yelling ;).

You or a mod may have briefly accidentally locked then opened it back up. Clicking the Moderator Tools in the upper right above the first post is where you go to lock/open threads.

Also, while there is no rule against it, PayPal Friends & Family is quite frowned upon by many here. It offers no protection to you or the buyer should something negative happen. It also cheats PayPal out of the tiny fees that they earned by you utilizing their service, fees which you agreed upon when signing up.

That is a good way to lose sales as many will see F&F and hit the back button, regardless of what is for sale.

Thanks for the info. First time I've ever posted here so still learning the ropes. I will edit my post and take out the f and f. While I'm here, I've noticed every other thread title is in bold but for my sale thread is not. I didn't see any way to bold it when I created it or to change it to bold when I edit it. Thanks.

Thread titles are bold when there is an unread post, if it's not bold it just means there have been no posts since the last time you looked at it :)

Bold thread titles are for threads that you have not read or have a new post in which you have not read. Once you read it and are up to date it wont be bold any longer until there is a new post.
